Protecting the bases on baseball or a softball diamond from the elements can extend the life of the bases. Baseball plate covers from Tarpaulins fit securely over the major bases of the baseball or softball field and are easier and faster to install than rolling large tarp over the field.
If a baseball field is hosting morning and evening practice sessions, it is easier for the grounds crew to cover the bases, home plate and pitcher mound between sessions than rolling a large tarp over the field, particularly if the weather forecast calls for a chance of showers. Our base covers are made using a vinyl material that is waterproof, UV resistant and mildew resistant. Base plate covers are available in two sizes: 120 feet by 120 feet and 160 feet by 160 feet.
