Project Description
Description:
With superior airtightness compared to ordinary films, Honsdar new silage films promote more thorough fermentation of the silage, improving the quality of animal feed to enhance animal health and performance.
Our silage films are available in various color combinations, including black/white, black, black/green, and white/green. The white side faces outward, reflecting heat and preventing the stored feed from overheating, while the black side faces inward, offering high light-blocking properties to create an ideal dark environment for silage
Key Benefits:
1) Inhibits harmful fermentation, improves feed nutrition, and ensures silage safety.
2) Durable and anti-aging for long-term use.
3) Low investment, high efficiency, and profitability.
4) Easy to store, feed, transport, and sell.
5) Eco-friendly, recyclable, and sustainable.
Specification:
• Color: White/Black, Black, Green/black, White/green

• Width: up to 20m
• Length: 50m to 500m
How to store and use the Silage film?
1) Storage of Silage film rolls
• Silage film rolls should be stored upright in a dry place, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Before use, keep the rolls at room temperature for 24 hours. The ideal storage temperature is 15-25°C.
2) Handling and Transportation:
• Protect the film rolls during handling and transportation, especially the edges of the film.
• Use the rolls within one year of purchase.
3) Installation on the Baler:
• Install the film roll on the baler according to the baler’s instruction manual.
• Adjust the pre-stretching device to keep the film roll aligned with the center of the bale.
• Ensure the cutting blades are in good condition to avoid long film tails after wrapping.
4) Bale Wrapping Guidelines:
• The bales should be tightly packed and uniformly shaped. The film overlap rate should be 50%.
• For bales with a dry matter content of 40-50%, wrap at least 4 layers.
• For square bales or bales with a dry matter content greater than 50%, wrap at least 6 layers.
• For stalk crops such as straw, wrap at least 6 layers.
5) Storage of Wrapped Bales:
• Store the wrapped bales on a bare site with good drainage, away from trees, waterways, and roads.
• Do not stack bales higher than 3 layers.
• Regularly inspect the bales and repair any damage promptly.
• Use the bales within 12 months of wrapping.
